In the event of an emergency after normal business hours, you may call your therapist at home.  For non-crisis situations, there is an answering machine available 24 hours a day and all calls are returned in a timely manner depending on the stated urgency of your call.  This will usually be on the same day, with the exception of weekends and holidays.  If you are difficult to reach by phone, please inform us of some times when you will be available.  Due to our therapists' schedules, we are often not immediately available by telephone. When your therapist is unavailable, our telephone is answered by our office staff or an answering machine.  In emergencies, you can try your therapist at his or her home number.  If you are unable to reach your therapist and feel you cannot wait for a return phone call, contact your family physician or the nearest emergency room and ask for the physician on call.
